Avis Budget Group rolls-out Avis First premium service in Europe

Car rental company Avis Budget Group has launched its new premium service in Europe, with Avis First designed to “transform the car rental experience for discerning travellers”.
The “concierge-style service” – which was debuted in North America earlier this year – will see travellers met at airport arrivals by an Avis representative and escorted to a premium BMW rental car. The service also promises “effortless returns” and a dedicated phone line.
Avis First is available to book now at three airport locations – Rome Fiumicino, Geneva International and Zurich Kloten – with more locations to be launched “very soon”.
Avis’ VP chief commercial officer, international, James Adams says the service is a “complete reimagining of how premium travellers begin and end their journeys.”
He added: “We listened to our customers – travellers who value premium experiences and for whom every minute counts, as well as families seeking effortless travel – and designed a service that delivers unparalleled convenience and peace of mind.”
