Royal Caribbean expands its Europe cruise vacation lineup

Shortly after revealing that it’s going even bigger on summer adventures in Europe in 2026, Royal Caribbean is inviting travelers to start planning summer 2027 vacations with a new lineup of cruise itineraries to some of Europe’s top travel destinations.
Not only will the summer 2026 cruise season in the Mediterranean include the debut of Legend of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s third Icon Class ship, it will feature the opening of an exclusive Royal Beach Club in Santorini, Greece.

Travelers will also be able to sail through the Mediterranean on Legend of the Seas and visit Royal Beach Club Santorini in summer 2027, a season that will include six Royal Caribbean ships sailing to sought-after destinations across Europe.

Five Royal Caribbean ships will sail Mediterranean cruises

Vacationers will be able to visit Royal Beach Club Santorini on a variety of Mediterranean cruise itineraries in 2027. On itineraries that visit Santorini, Greece, vacationers can visit the new beach club as part of an Ultimate Santorini Day excursion. A complete Santorini experience, the full-day excursion will also include tours of famous island sites, such as Oia and Fira.
Five Royal Caribbean ships will sail seven-night Mediterranean voyages in summer 2027 departing from four different ports — Barcelona, Spain; Rome, Italy; Ravenna, Italy; and Athens, Greece.

  • Legend of the Seas: The Icon Class ship will sail from Barcelona and Rome, offering seven-night western Mediterranean vacations to destinations across France, Italy, and Spain.
  • Rhapsody of the Seas: From Athens (Piraeus), Rhapsody of the Seas will offer seven-night cruises across the eastern Mediterranean to culture-rich destinations such as Tangier, Morocco; and Bodrum and Istanbul, Turkey. Itineraries also feature Mykonos and Santorini, Greece, along with overnights in Istanbul, or Alexandria, Egypt.
  • Brilliance of the Seas: From Ravenna, Brilliance of the Seas will sail seven-night voyages to the Greek Isles, Croatia, and the Adriatic coast.
  • Explorer of the Seas: Sailing from Barcelona, Rome, Ravenna, and Athens, Explorer of the Seas will offer seven-night journeys across Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, Montenegro, and the Greek Isles.
  • Odyssey of the Seas: From Rome, Odyssey of the Seas will sail seven-night Greek Isles vacations to Mykonos and Santorini; Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey; and Naples, Italy.
